Johnson, Barbara Ferry. Lionors. New York: Avon, 1975.
Much like Allen French's novel about Sir Marrok, Barbara Ferry Johnson's Lionors builds an entire novel around a character mentioned briefly by Malory. Malory's Lyonors, the beautiful daughter of an earl named Sanam, has an affair with Arthur and bears him a child named Borre. The son in Malory's account becomes a daughter in Johnson's novel.
