This image did not appear in the edition of The Boy's King Arthur that Kappes illustrated, but it is clearly meant to illustrate the line that reads, 'the bishop of Canterbury was fetched, and he blessed the sieges [seats] [of the Round Table] with great royalty and devotion' (p. 48 in the 1880 edition).
